42G3 - The Elementary School Curriculum.
Emphasis is placed on actual experience in the development of the
elementary curriculum in harmony with sound educational theory and
accepted psychological principles. After much research, students will
select and organize appropriate materials for specific grade levels.
44G3 - Child Accounting in the Elementary School.
The course includes a study of problems relating to census, attendance,
school population, classification and grade placement, report
cards, temporary and permanent records, school progress, pupil adjustment
and guidance. Designed for the elementary principal and classroom
teacher.
55G3 - Supervision in the Elementary School.
The purpose of this course is to study the fundamental principles
of elementary supervision. Emphasis is placed upon cooperative trends
in modern supervision.
59G3 - Seminar in Supervision in the Elementary School.
The purpose of this course is two-fold (1) to determine the competency
of the student in elementary school supervision, and (2) to
strengthen any aspects of the program in which he is found to be
deficient. Comprehensive oral and written examinations will be administered
and the completion of assigned projects will be required.

10G3 - Philosophy of Education.
This course deals with the place of philosophy in understanding
current education methods and practices. Current theories are studied
for the purpose of assisting the student in formulating a sound theory
of educational philosophy in harmony with modern democratic concepts
of education.
11G3 - Applied Statistics in Educational Research.
A study of statistical techniques and their application to research
problems in education. Prerequisite: Education 368 or 386.
31G3 - Advanced Problems in the Study of Adolescence.
This course offers an extended study of the problems of adolescence.
It includes professional laboratory experiences in which a study
is made of adolescent environment-home, school, community-as it
affects the youth's personality. Case histories are used to aid the
teacher in the understanding of the problems involved in adolescent
development.
32G3 - Remedial and Developmental Reading in the Secondary
School.
A study of the basic psychological principles relating to the improvement
of reading in high school. Diagnostic and remedial techniques
