and government is designed to explore the fundamentals of the
institutions and processes of American government especially as they
touch upon the economic system.

American political system.
GOVT 226 States and the Federal System (3-03), fall, spring, summer.
The politics of the federal system with special emphasis upon Texas
government and politics. This course serves as the requisite government
course for education majors.

and politics, with special emphasis on the problems of metropolitan
areas.

to the study of public policy and policy analysis through examining

recommending and evaluating policy consequences.
