Social and Behavioral Sciences (9 hrs.) Six hours must be in history
(History 1317-1318, 2321-2322, or 2323-2324) and the other three hours
must be in another area such as psychology, government, geography,
anthropology, sociology, social work, or economics.

Mathematics (0-3 hrs. In addition to Major Requirements below.) The
math requirement is determined by the student's score on the math
section of the ACT entrance exam. If a student scores 24 or more, he is
not required to take any aath. If he scores 16-23, he must take Math 1303.
If he scores 15 or below, he must take Math 1301.
Fine Arts (3 hrs.) Art 1301 or Music 2350 or Com-D 2350.

1305. Personal Computing with an Introduction to Statistical Packages

Introduction to personal computing emphasizing programming in
BASIC, an English-based language readily available on microcomputers.
Instruction in the use of comprehensive statistical canned programs
such as SPSS, the Statistical Package for Social Scientists. This course
does not fulfill degree requirements for majors in Mathematics. Prerequisite:
Fulfillment of the General Math Requirement.58
