and six in upper division. If this is not the case, the
student's admission committee will designate
additional preparatory courses. All applicants,
except international students whose native
language is not English, must also meet a
preparatory language-research-tool requirement by
taking either (1) six hours in a foreign language
with an average grade of C or better or (2) at least
six hours chosen with the approval of their thesis

Prerequisites
In addition to the prerequisites mentioned above
and those listed earlier in the Graduate Catalog,
religious broadcasting applicants must have
undergraduate credit for 12 hours of advanced
Bible, of which six must be textual; two years of a
foreign language, preferably Greek; and the
following courses: JMC 223 Basic News, JMC 260
TV Production, JMC 331 Audio Production, JMC338 Radio News, JMC 378 Advertising Principles,
and JMC 440 Mass Communication Theory.

JMC 562 Broadcast Advertising
JMC 564 Religious Broadcasting
