OUR JUBILEE BOOK COVER .....
by Travis McPherson
shows typical landmarks of Hereford from 1898 through 1912.
The hotel, where prospectors stayed as they looked for land;
the windmill signifying the building of our "Windmill City"; the
Santa Fe depot and tracks, because, fortunately, the railroad
started it all; and the water tower symbolizing our abundance
of water for irrigation, diversification and industry. These symbols
started Hereford on the road to a "HUSTLIN' HERITAGE".
