Fire Destroys
Grain Elevator
The Canadian Grain Coop elnva
tor caught on fire Wednesday night
about 8 30 One of tho most spec-
tacular fires In Canadians history
the conflagation brought most of
the towns population to the scene
Members of the fire department
fought valiantly for two hours to
save surrounding buildings from tho
flames
A girl reported seeing two men on
the premises a short time before the
fire started but little significance is
attached to the story It is true
however that there havo been sev-
eral fires in this section lately
Could there bo a connection between
these fires and the unsettled con
ditions in Europe
