Ihe West that the corn crons am materi
ally damaged by drouth, but tho Indies-
lions are that thev have been vis ted bv
a good rain out in that direction this
week. Throughout Palo Pinto county.
the corn crop has hold up wonderfully
well, and during tho dry spell has just
kept on growing as though nothing was
the matter, and is from knee to waist
bight. So much for a rich soil, and an
industrious people.
