CENTRAL TEXAS CONFERENCE JOURNAL.

C. R. Wright and C. S. Field read reports of Boards of Church Extension
and the iSunday School Board and they were adopted.
Report of the Conference Teller was read as information to the Confer-
ence.
Minutes read and approved, and on motion the Conference adjourned.
Rev. Simeon Shaw pronounced the benediction.

Memorial Session

The Conference convened in Memorial Session pursuant to adjournment
at 3 o'clock p. m. on Sunday.
E. F. Boone occupied the chair by appointment.
R. C. Armstrong led the opening prayer.
Question 21.-What preachers have died during the year?
J. S. Tunnell and Marion Mills.
It was announced that Mrs. S. D. Akin, Mrs. J. C. Carter and Mrs. G. W.
Swofford had died during the year.
Suitable memoirs of the deceased were read as the report of the Com-
mittee on Memoirs, and verbal tributes were paid by a number of the
brethren. The report was adopted.

Bishop Atkins took the chair and ordained those elected to elders' orders.
The Conference adjourned on motion of Jno . M. Barcus.
Sunday Evening Session
The Conference convened at 7:30 p. m. pursuant to adjournment. Bishop
Atkins in the chair.
Devotional service was conducted by Rev. Simeon Shaw.
Minutes of the Memorial Session were read and approved.
Mrs. J. T. Bloodworth spoke to the Conference concerning the work of
the women in their societies, and urged the co-operation of the preachers.
Prof. Cunninggim of Nashville addressed the Conference concerning the
Correspondence School.
Jno. iM. Barcus took an offering for Rev. R. M. Morris, the Conference
postmaster, amounting to $26.00.
Jno. R. Nelson read report of organization of Board of Missions.

M. S. Hotchkiss read report of Board of Missions.
The Secretary read resolutions of thanks, which were adopted.
(See Resolutions).
Conference sang, "Blest be the tie that binds."
Minutes read and approved.
