stitutional Convention of 1875 and Judge of the
Fifth Judicial District from 1884 to 1888 and in 1891
was appointed by Governor James S. Hogg a member
of the State Railroad Commission, a position
which he held until October, 1894, when he tendered
his resignation in order to resume the practice of
his profession at Fort Worth, where he now resides
and is a member of the law firm of Humphreys
