The tree (seen outside of the white picket fence area) occupies the center of the photograph with other oak trees surrounding it. The roof tops of several ranch buildings can be seen in the background. The photograph is bordered by a black pattern with "Fox Co." written in bottom right, and top left corners of pattern. Stamped on back in blue: "2 196". Stamped in purple on back: "Guaranteed for Life This Is a Genuine (sic) Border Fox Tone Picture (outline of fox) Made By Fox Company, San Antonio, Texas Trade Mark Protected".
