habitants while it can easily sup-

cattle and 300000000 sheep
Buenos Ayres the capital is one of
the most prosperous and beautiful
cities in the world and has a popu-
lation of nearly 1000000 Neithe
in this city nor in the interior is
there any considerable Indian or
negro element such as is found in
other South American countries
The population is 99 per cent of
white extraction
