Description:

Photograph of the Classical Revival style First National Bank building in downtown Paris, Texas.

Note:

The building is built with steel re-enforced concrete, a steel frame, and commercial brick. Gutted by a fire in March 1916, it was rebuilt and reopened for business in that same year. The Gibraltar Hotel and the apartment built across from it were also built in the same manner and stood up to the fire.
