For a major in Speech,- 38 semester hours are required, in-
cluding the following: Fundamentals of Speech, 11 a, b; 121
and 122; 130; Theatre Arts 31 a, b; The Art of Acting 41 a, b;
English; Modern drama and Contemporary Literature 39 a, b;
Shakespeare 48; Private Lessons, minimum 8 semester hours.
The department reserves the right of requiring more than
8 semester hours if in that time, the student has not the re-
quired Standard of Work.
