17. Students are not allowed to sit around on the campus
during recitation hours, but must study in the recitation room.
18. Whispering during chapel exercises, in the recitation
rooms and halls, is forbidden.
A violation of any of the above will be punished by de-
merits, reprimand, suspension or otherwise at'the discretion
of faculty.
Suggestions to Patrons.
Save your money and be ready to start to Wiley Univer-
sity, so as to be in school on the first day. While students
are admitted at any time, it is better to -be present the first
day if possible.
Wiley Uniform.
The Wiley uniform for boys is made of Navy blue flannel
cloth; sack coats, brass Texas state buttons. The Wiley Ca-
dets form a company of fine looking young men.
The uniform for girls is made of plain blue flannel cloth
dress goods, plainly made, trimmed around the collar and
cuffs with white braid. About twenty young men and sixty
young ladies have secured their uniforms during tha present
year. The small expense and improved appearance justify
us in making the wearing of uniforms compulsory hereafter.
Cost of young men's suit, $11; young ladies, $8.50.
Library and Reading Room.
Our library is composed of about 4,000 volumns, embra-
cing works of reference, works on Religion, history, secular
literature and fiction.
During the year a complete set of the Warner library, cov-
ering the works of more than 1,000 authors has been pur-
chased, also there has been added books of recent religious
fiction. Most of the church papers and such standard period-
icals as the New York Independent, Review of Reviews,
North American Review, Success, Cosmopolitan and many
others come to our reading room tables regularly.
The library is well patronized and we feel it a great influ-
