The man, who has a long gray beard, is wearing dark pants, jacket, and a hat. On the George Ranch house, note that both porches are open, both story windows are shuttered, and foul pens are at southeast approach of house. The cistern house is unpainted in this photograph, and has a weather vane at the top of it. There is no driveway leading to the front of the house.
