Daniel Baker intercepted a forward

thirsty and our guidos noticing our
woarlnoss took us to the beverago
room whero a delicious boverago ot
hot chocolato mixed with qulnlno was

Still led by tho mysterious figures
wo came to a dark room lighted by
candles and decorated with twigs and
small booths it was called "Giggling
Alley." Horo wo woro intraducod to
tho "Two Strong mon from Barneo."
"Tho King ot tho Movies" and "A. C. C.

Noxt wo visited tho trick room
whero numorous pranks wero played.
From hero we were directed to tho
mystery room and then through a nar-
row dark holl into the Amuaemout
room where tho "Magic Pumpkin"
"Whool of Fortune" and ndvertlso-
monts for matrimony wero tho chief
attractions.
One room was decorated as a wit-
ch's den and tho old witch was tell
ing fortunes. Wo were noxt ushered
into the selectlvo room. Hero tho
Blanks for matrimony were filled out
to see if wo wero fit n-bjocts for ma-
trimony. Wc were then told to visit the Ma-
trimony room whero we wero either
wedded or doomed to be an old maid
or an old bachelor

Anothor nvldonco that Abllono Chris-
tian Collego is fast stepping into the
rank of tho very best educational Insti-
tutions in tho Southland Is seen In tho
fact that another college publication Is
to bo added to tho list now composed ot a
wookly paper a monthly bulletin and
a high class annual. This Is to bo a
journal which will bo published each
term beginning with tho present one
and which will bo from tho vlow-polnt
of literary morit of a higher class
than any ot tho other publications.
This periodical whoso tltlo has not
yet boon mado known will bo edited by
tho mombers of tho A Club. This nlono
la enough to assuro us that it will bo
ot nn unusually high class. In addi-
tion to giving tho activities in which
tho A Club is especially interested and
tho nows of special lntorcst to present
and prospective members of tho club
tho journal will contain tho literary
gems of collego production. It is ox-
pected that it will icach every A Club
mombor both in school and out and

on tho eleventh of November last well

nows that fighting had ceased and tho
great war was virtually over. Nono
doubted that that day would bo placed
on equality it indeed not above our
great national holiday tho Fourth of
July.
On last Tuesday tho first annlvors-
nry of this momoroblo ovent Abllono
Christian Collego remembered this
occasion. For days before ono could
detect an unusual stirring nnd socrot
planning. This becamo moro public
whon on Saturday betoro tho faculty
and wives received an invitation to tho
"Victory Luncheon" in tho dining
room of Daisy Hall.
M twelvo-thlrty on Tuesday tho an
nouncement was mado that all would
be c3cortcd through tho dining hall to
vew tho nino tables set for tho lunch-

China Italy's Shlold of Savoy with
the Stars and Stripes ot Amorlca.
With Undo Sam and Columbia stood
tho Tommlo and the Pollu. Tho flow-
ing robes and brilliant colors ot Jap-
anese girls wero no loss in ovldonco
than the yollow and black of Chlneso
dross
Whon this was finished and places
wero found wc Joined in thanksgiv-
ing for tho many blosslngs ot tho day
and led by Miss Phillips sang with in-
creased appreciation "The Star
Spangled Banner."
Then we looked to our monu cards

ard Nolos and Vincent Slkes. Appro

Boys Who Never Came Back." Special
mention was made of the three A. C.
