of tho entire situation.
Nuturnlly some philosophical
mind had to read between tho

was "not to bo got". Hence chief

to acquaint numerous boys with

"Shorty" Fox In Class
Reunion By Proxy
Back in '28 a llttl fellow that
everyone looked up to went to
school in Abl-i-lecn Chrcs-t-ian
Col-ledge. He bore the cpitah of
"Shorty" Fox.
"Shorty" graduated from ACC
in tljat year and went to his home
In Obion Tennessee "where he is
even now teaching.
As some of you know tho class
of '28 had a reunion during home-
coming. "Shorty" really wanted to
come and participate in tho ac-
tivities but Just couldn't get off.
So to show that he was with the
'28'crs in spirit ho sent a 47
word telegram to J. W. Treat the
young man who was prcsidcnt of
tho Students Association that
year Incidentally the last report
that wo liad of Treat he was
teaching in somo school in Abilene.
Now ns we said before every
body looked up to "Shorty" part-
ly because he was very . active
while ho was In school. In ACC
Shorty" was a math major mem-
ber of tho Glee Club and tho Tri-
State Club worked on tho Prickly
Pear staff and played center on
the basketball team. "Shorty"
went to David Lipscomb for three
years before he camo to ACC.
An immaterial reason that ev
erybody looked up to Shorty is
that he is only about six feet and
soven inches tall. Quite a short-
strokc. Gavel Members Give
