social affairs for this year's
Howard Cash the man from
Frats Ko Jo Kai Capture
Highest Grade Averages
Fratcr Sodalls and Ko Jo Kai
walked away with the highest
scholastic averages at the social
club award night Friday.
Benny Jay was the student
with the highest individual grade
point. He had accomplished a 4.0
average in 20 hours of school
work during the spring '58 semes-
ter. Jay Carlsbad N. M. junior
is a physics major and a member
of the Fratcr Sodalls social club.
He was initiated into the club in
1957.
THE GIRL in social clubs with
the highest grade point was
Nancy Wesner of the Ko Jo Kai
club.
Mis3 Wesner had a record of
four point on 18 hours of work

For November Banquet Date

Oregon live it up in a swinging way.
She is a senior from Cordell

This is the second straight
semester in which Miss Wesner
coped the honor as she was the
highest for the spring '58 term.

a lawn party at Mabee Hall Fri-

has this party each year to ac-
quaint freshmen with ACC social

Besides discussing banquet
plans the group talked of sending
a delegation to the Southwest
Journalism Forum held at South-
ern Methodist Univeisity in Dal-
las Oct. 17.
The Club has begun collecting
the facts for the Hello Book to be
finished Nov. 1.

The Industrial Arts Club held
its first '58 meeting Monday
night. Last year's president Leon
Wood Pampa junior opened the
meeting and started organization
for this semester's activity.
Newly elected officers are Bill

and Ncal Sconicrs vice president.

Fourty-four now members were
Iniated into the Campus Service
Organization Tuesday afternoon
in a formal ceremony.
The women's service organiza-
tion had begun activity this year
by keeping an information booth
in the Administration Building
during Get Acquainted Week.
Leading the club this year Is

ior as president. Donna Nelson
