Locations identified by numbers are: 1 - JUDGE LYNCH'S CABINS now Lynch Plaza at S Oak and E Hubbard, 2 - Mesquite St. well, middle of E. 1st Ave. (2nd well in town now abandoned) 3 - Current center of downtown Mineral Wells Oak Ave. (US 281) and Hubbard St. (US 180), 4 - Current Fire and Police Deptartments, 5 - S. Oak Ave., 6 - Early Hotel (name Unknown), 7 - Present "Business District"; NE 1st Ave., 8 - N. Oak Ave. (a residential area at the time.)
