[Transcript of a legal document recording the history of a loan made to Stephen F. Austin by John P. Austin]

Description: Copy of transcript for an affidavit[?] sworn by Henry Austin and witnessed and recorded by James G. Phelps. Henry's Austin's statement details a debt of cash owed and interest accrued on an advance loan made to Stephen F. Austin by John P. Austin in Mexico in 1835. Henry Austin's statement also verifies that the loan remains unpaid.
