Tree House at the Denton Public Library

Description: Joella Orr (standing), Clema Perry (seated, on left), and Mae McKnight (seated, on right) pose with books in the tree house at the Denton Public Library. This photo was taken prior to the opening of the tree house. Construction was funded by members of the Denton Garden Culture Club. Mrs. Harold E. Perry was the club president and Mrs. F. W. McKNight was the clubs' project chairman. Joella Orr was the director of the Emily Fowler Library. The tree house was designed by Betty Robertson.
