Description: Photograph of the Paris Community Theatre in downtown Paris, Texas. Also known as the 1927 "Plaza" Theater. It was built during the time of Art Deco-style influence, which featured vertical lines, as in the two tall sides of the front with arches, the arches are repeated over the four windows. The tall, slender, white stone columns are in a spiral pattern. The cornice brackets (consoles) are curved and the red tile roof repeats curves.
