Schulenburg Sticker

The Schulenburg Sticker collection represents nearly 30 years of the town's rich Czech and German heritage, with issues from 1899 to 1926. Incorporated on May 19, 1895, Schulenburg, whose name means school town in German, is situated within one-hundred miles of Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. The Schulenburg Sticker has documented the history of the town since 1899, when it was started by W.R. King, a prominent Schulenburg citizen whose writing skills assisted other early town historians, including F. Lotto, writer of Fayette County, Her History and Her People. It is with deepest appreciation to the Schulenburg Public Library and its supporters that this collection has been made available online.
