Description: Bookmark with a thread tassel. The bookmark contains a drawing of a dog and the inscription, "I'm good for a trick or two." We assume that the bookmark served double-duty as a placeholder for a table at a social function as it is labeled, "Table No.2, Couple No.2" with the numbers handwritten in. The bookmark belonged Mrs. J. E. Hightower, formerly Bessie Elizabeth Bruce, and was found in her 1910 Denton High School Bronco yearbook.

Cast of Second Threshold

Description: Cast of Philip Barry's play, Second Threshold, was performed in the main auditorium of North Texas State College. Members of the cast are Charles Taliaferro as Josiah Bolton, Una Glazener as Miranda, Jack Dunlop as Dr. Toby Wells, Mike Henderson as Jock Bolton, Marian Laminack as Thankful Mother, and Jim Swain as Malloy, the butler. The play was performed on Thursday and Friday nights starting Thursday, December 6, 1951.

Description: The envelope includes the names of several members of the Owsley family. Written on the front of the envelope: "Dr. [Louisa] Owsley, mother of A. C. Owsley, Sr., Grandmother Clark, Lou, Stella, Eunice, Henry, Charlotte, [and] Alvin."
