Yours, C. S. (Cora Stone is written in ink on a later date)" The postcard is addressed to Miss Vonnie Moseley, Mount Sylvan, Texas, Route 1.

According to "Down the Corridor of Years: A Centennial History of the University of North Texas in Photographs," the President's Home was constructed in 1909 and razed in 1958. (p50)
Postcard contains photograph of the Science Building at the North Texas State Normal College, now known as the University of North Texas, in Denton. The building was completed in 1910 and was located at the corner of Avenue A and Hickory until it was razed in 1967.
Postcard contains color artwork of the Southern Hotel in Denton, Texas. The hotel possesses a fully air conditioned coffee shop, Dixie Belle and Starlight dining rooms, and free parking. In 1956, the Southern Hotel was listed in Duncan Hines "Lodging for a Night and Adventures in Good Eating," and according to the December 1956 issue of Doings in Denton, the "Hines organization inspected the rooms, room service, the food and dining-room service recently."
