Description: Photograph of four U.S. soldiers in an automobile crossing a body of water, more than likely a canal or small river. On the doors of the automobile, a seal with the word DORT is visible. Dort is referencing the kind of automobile the soldiers were in. The water does not appear to be that deep, as it only goes up to about mid-tire. Where this photo was taken is unknown, however, it has been identified as being taken during the Punitive Expedition. The area is quite flat all around; the canal or river can be seen stretching north from the vehicle.
