Description: Photograph of a group of fourteen women and three men in the Mamie Davis George Prayer Chapel taken during the dedication of the chapel. George, who is wearing a dark dress and hat, is seated in the metal folding chair in the center of the photograph. The chapel was adjacent to the Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital and the building was once the Calvary Episcopal Church. [This photograph is similar to 2000.018.009 except two of the women in the front row have removed their eyeglasses and the woman on front row, left is not holding a purse with floral accents in the 009 photo]. Back of photo: in pencil "[erasures] 1-5x7, 1-5x7, 1-5x7 #6"; and stamped in black "Humpola Photo Studio Rosenberg, Texas."

The type written letter reads: " 3/25/60 Dear Mrs. George: Found this in our files - - an aerial picture of your ranch. Thought maybe you'd like to have it. Regards, [signed] Donald B. Bryant, Editor - Gen. Mgr. The Herald-Coaster". An aerial photograph, 2000.048.007b, was enclosed with letter.
