Rhydonia was married to Mamie George's cousin Henry Jones. There is a small puppy behind the horse in the shade of the cistern house to the left of the photograph. The Nancy Jones oak tree is in the center right background. According to the "1996 George Ranch Historical Park Interpreter Training Manual", the tree was planted by Nancy Jones in 1824. Smaller trees are to the right. There are two small wooden structures to the left and right of the oak tree trunk. A white wooden pen is partially visible in the background between the white horse and the cistern house. Wooden fence in background with trees in distance. The George Ranch House was built in 1899 (completed in 1900) with design work by Nicholas Clayton, a famous Galveston architect, according to the "1996 George Ranch Historical Park Interpreter Training Manual". The house has dark trim on window shutters and ornate posts of porch. A white picket fence encloses the ranch house yard. There are three geese near center right of photograph in a pen. Wire fence (barb wire top) in foreground. Trees in right background with the top of a small wooden building visible on far right.
