Description: Cabinet Portrait of Belle Ryon (Davis). In the Full-length photograph, Belle is wearing a long sleeved jacket with bands of dark fabric across the center front, collar, sleeves, and near the bustle in back. The two layered skirting has the same dark strips at upper tier hem and again on sides of bottom pleated tier. A velvet sash of the darker color can be seen where the bottom and top tiers meet at Belle's side. Davis is standing to the left of a fireplace and has her hands crossed and on top of the mantle. An upholstered chair is to the left of the photograph and a window is in the background. The photograph is mounted on a cardboard substrate. Bottom of cardboard in black: "Cabinet Portrait. C. J. Wright, Houston." Written at bottom of cardboard below the image in black ink: "Bell Davis". Description: Studio portrait of Belle Ryon Davis. In this bust portrait, Davis is wearing a dress with puffed sleeves and ruffled insets above shoulders. There is heavy embroidered stitching at edges of collar and down the center of the dress. Davis' graying hair near forehead is curled and the rest of her dark hair is pulled back into a bun. The photograph is mounted on a tan cardboard substrate with gold trimmed scalloped edging.

Description: Black and white negative of a woman wearing a dark dress. She has her hair, curled in front, pulled back in a bun. The dress has long tight-fitting sleeves with intricate embroidery along the bodice that extends below the tight-fitting waist. The embroidery ends in scallops at the hips, where the skirting flares in gathers. She has her right hand up and partially obscured by a floral arrangement in a vase on the left side of the portrait. Her left arm is bent and behind her back. A rounded balustrade forms a semi-circle around the woman. The portrait ends near the knees. The original of which this negative is a picture of, was mounted on cardboard with "Deane 306 Preston Street, Houston, Texas" printed on the bottom.
