Kemah Historical Society

About this Partner

The Kemah Historical Society has contributed historical photographs depicting various aspects, places, and people of the city. The Society was founded to research and preserve the history and artifacts of Kemah and the surrounding Bay Area. They strive to increase the level of awareness to all those interested in the Kemah area by disseminating information about Kemah's history and by actively collecting, documenting and preserving artifacts and memorabilia related to the American Indians up to the present day.

Founded in 2004, it is also dedicated to protecting, preserving and educating those interested in Kemah's natural wildlife and ecological environment as a coastal prairie and bay area.
