Description: Engraving by Boston printmaker Thomas Clarke showing a man and woman weeping into handkerchiefs in front of the grave of George Washington. The design was attribute to Dutch miniaturist David Eniers the Younger (1610-1690) and was printed by English printmaker Thomas Major (1720-1799).
