- This is a draft from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is written by Charles B. Moore when he was 68 years old and addressed to the Courier Journal. In this letter, Moore discusses the Annie Laura story printed in the Rockbridge County News and provides the journal with 100 year old verses written about her by Robert Burns. It is dated 1891 in an unspecified month and day. The document is damaged along the edges and some words are missing due to the damage.

- This is a draft from the personal papers of the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is written by Moore on April 19, 1891. In this letter, Moore writes about an article written in the Dallas Weekly News on April 16 by D. B. Kiefer. The article details a "norther" that struck Texas in April of 1857. He states in this document that he writes to corroborate stories with the journalist, provide his experience through the "norther," and make a correction on the date given in Kiefer's article. The third and fourth page of this document includes genealogical accounts of Moore's descendants. He details the Wallace family and the history of some of the Wallace men who were part of an expedition sent on a charge to the Creek nation.

- Draft of C. B. Moore's will was created on September 30, 1901. He appears to leave the control of his estate to his wife. Birdy McGee was living with the Moore family and he leaves it up to his wife's generosity to care for her. He states that he wants his burial to be similar to others in his family without religious ceremonies.

- This document is from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is an editorial written by Jason W. Thomas to the voters of the 5th Congressional District in McKinney, Texas. In this article, Thomas discusses his political platform. He details the issues that he favors and the necessary steps that must be taken to ensure that these issues are addressed properly. This editorial is dated October 18, 1888. Handwritten notes by Charles B. Moore on the reverse of this document details measurements of property in chains. A chain is a unit of measurement which equals 22 yards, 66 feet, or 100 links.

The poem's author is unidentified and the document is undated.

- Entries from J.C. Moore's journal addressed to Charles B. Moore. In the first entry, he acknowledges papers and letters previously sent by Charles B. Moore. He also discusses the lives of several friends and family members in his hometown of Flat Woods, Tennessee, and comments on the occasional robberies and raids in the town. Moore describes the recent rainy weather and it's effects on the local agricultural endeavors. In an entry dated August 11, the Moore describes in detail an armed gang robbery that occurred in the town. In an entry dated August 18, he follows up with a description of the capture of two robbers.

It says "Gateman McKinney, Texas" below the name S. J. Hanson. The back of the envelope has financial calculation. The document is undated.
