Patsy is representing the Weslaco Parent-Teachers Assoc. "Hoge Foundation" is the name of this creation in honor of the woman whose cenizo shrubs went the way of all growing things about this time of year around Weslaco. The formal gown was made by the P.T.A. from two bushels of ground cenizo leaves with a half bushel of yellow chrysanthemums thrown in for the decorative touch. Her gloves, purse, and shoes were all of the same materials. The waist corsage, necklace and earrings were of the daisy chrysanthemum group.
