E-mailing

Each item on our site has a unique web site address (URL) that can be used as a permanent link. Likewise, each search results list has a URL that will allow you to run the same search again.

To e-mail:

  1. Navigate to the search results list, item record, or image that interests you.
  2. Copy the URL from your web browser’s location bar.
  3. Paste the URL into the text of an e-mail message and send.

If you are viewing a page that displays the Share icon, you can also e-mail by clicking Share and then clicking "Email.” A dialog box will open so you can enter the recipient’s e-mail address and any notes you want to add.
