Description: A group of firefighters on the dock move fire hoses into position to fight a fire on board the Grandcamp cargo ship before the explosions. A large cloud of dark smoke hangs over the dock.

Note: This photo is captioned "Looking east along apron north side of Warehouse "O", showing the S. S. GRANDCAMP a few minutes before the explosion.
