Description: A large cargo ship with the name "Grandcamp" on the prow is moored at dockside, loading or unloading. Several men are standing alongside the ship on the dock and a ladder is extended down to the dock. Products in large cloth bags is being loaded or off-loaded. At the bottom of the photograph is printed "Texas City Disaster, April 16, 1947." This photograph was taken before the Grandcamp exploded.
