Apparently original draft, in hand of Iturbide. Another MS copy of the Memoir, with footnotes 1 to 5 only, is in the Latin American Library, University of Texas (G 414 MS), with note by Ignacio de Betancourt, a previous owner. Still another contemporaneous copy, unsigned, is in the W. B. Stephens Collection (University of Texas (No. 954), with footnotes but no supporting documents.
