'Blood of heroes hath stained me; let the stones of the Alamo speak that their immolation be not forgotten.' The tablet placed by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas in commemoration of the one hundredth anniversary of the fall of the Alamo."

The Alamo

Description: Photograph of the ruins of the buildings surrounding the Alamo. The buildings are made of stone, and two windows with wooden bars have been cut into the stone.
