Description: Photograph of the first home of Lavinia Parker McDaniel and George W. McDaniel in Abilene, Texas. This Victorian-era home, located at 774 Butternut, was built with lumber from the lumberyard of Robert Henry Parker, Lavinia Parker's father. The house has two stories, though the front is obscured by tall bushes and trees.
