William Letchworth Hurst

Description: Portrait of William Letchworth Hurst, founder of Hurst. Hurst had come to the Grapevine area from Tennessee in 1870. In 1903, when the Rock Island Railroad built across his farm near Bedford, where he had later relocated, the train stop was named after him.
