Description: Photograph of the Parkers during the first funeral held at the First Presbyterian Church in Abilene, Texas. They stand on the threshold of the uncompleted south entrance to the church, with temporary wooden planks installed between short brick walls. Sallie Ann Parker Willis stands with two of her children at left. Leather boots

Description: Pair of boots or "High Button Shoes" of brown leather. The shoes, designed with pointed toes rounded at the tips, lace closed along center front with laces 16 holes high. The medium height, stacked heels are rounded at sides and back, and are curved at front, tapering slightly to ground. The sole is of tan leather. The shoes are lined in off-white cloth. Straw cloche

Description: Cloche of rose straw. The high, rounded crown is of finely braided rose/pink colored straw. At one side is an appliqué in green, beige, peach, and brown of a stylized floral design in silk taffeta with colored straw detailing and outlines.
