Description: Ira W. Trotter was the husband of Edith Trotter and the brother of Mrs. Carroll Huddleston of Houston. He died 30 January 1970 at the age of 67. He attended Cheyenne public schools, Blackstone Military Academy, West Point and Rice University. He received his law degree from Colorado University and practiced law in Houston from 1928-1938 before returning to Wyoming to operate a large ranch near Chugwater. This photo was included in the Pells-Trotter collection of photos and memorabilia which was donated to the Palestine Public Library.
