Description: Demolition of the "pink building" at Congress Junior High. The structure was located at the corner of Denton and Gregg Streets and faced east. Previously, it was part of the old high school building which dates from 1909. At a later date, it was also called Central Elementary. Description: Demolition of the old high school building which dates from 1909. It was also called Central Elementary. The building later served as a classroom for the seventh grade. The open door leads to the principal's office and the gym is visible on the left. This is the site of John B. Denton College. The school was located on Denton and Gregg Streets; the front entrance faced east.
