Description: Photograph of a tall pecan tree. Three men are standing around the base of the tree and it appears that they may have pruned the tree limbs. The top of the tree is bare and has freshly cut tops. There is a pile of limbs to the right of the man near center right. Automobiles are parallel parked to the right of photo, shrubs on left, business (brick building) in background with sign that reads: "Electric Service ? Co. There is a white house and trees in the background. The photograph has scalloped edging.

Description: Photograph of a large pecan tree. The men near the base of the tree appear to be pruning the tree. The tree has newly cut branches which are stacked on a trailer to the right. There is a wooden ladder leaning against the trailer. A truck is parked to the right of the photograph. Other automobiles are parked along the street on right and another one is parked on opposite side of corner (near center of photo). There is a brick building from center to right with sign that reads: "Electric Service H L & P Co." There are branches in the street in the foreground.

Description: This is a letter from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is written by a woman names Etha and is addressed to the White's and Mary Ann Moore. In this letter, Etha informs the White's and Moore of the goings-on in her community in McKinney, TX. The news includes: a dialogue about Ruth White Moore and about Etha's baby, details about the weather, new about community members who own an "auto" and Etha possibly buying one, an aside mentioning the prevalence of la grippe in her area, a discussion about Morris and Harry's reading ability, news about the Rucker and Kendal families as well as friends in the community, agricultural updates on crops, a dialogue about Opal,and a discussion about poultry. She closes the letter by noting that Mary Ann and Linnet should write her soon. The envelope is included with the letter.
