In the center of the frame is the dead body and a man standing over him. The man is holding the reins of his saddled horse. Written in the bottom left-hand corner is, "Dead Bandits being Identified at Columbus, N. M." and in the right is, "W. M. Horne Co. (Copyrighted) El Paso, Tex."
