Description: Photograph of the Lavaca River Bridge after the wreck of the San Antonio and Aransas Pass "Don Milo" freight train. There are pieces of the wreck still in the water, and there are men on what is left of the bridge, on the bank, and in the water. A train engine is on the tracks just before the bridge. Electric Railway.

Description: Patent for an electric railway that has the electric conductor on or under the ground, in a tube. The tube gets electricity to the trains via contact-pieces embedded in the tube, and it collapses whenever the train wheels go over it. The tube and conductor are kept safe in a u-shaped hanger underground.
