Redway says that he is glad to hear that Loriette received the money he sent, and that he may send another two or three hundred dollars to Mr. Baker. He mentions that he has been away from the South for so long, that he would rather live in New York state than in the South. Also included with this item is the envelope in which the letter was sent.
