Description: Tin type image of Lewallen Conaway, who was born March 14, 1832 in Mississippi and died September 10, 1862, the son of James Sr. and Mary Conaway. He was a Private in Co. This photo was found among the papers of the Conaway family that were donated to the Palestine Public Library some years ago.
