Description: This map shows the United States on the front and has two maps on the reverse side showing the North-West Territory and the western portion of the United States. On the first map, each of the states and territories is shaded, using various colors. Cities, roads, bodies of water, and geographic features are marked (with relief shown by hachures). On the opposite side of the page, the map of the western United States is on the left which has only geographic features marked (mountains shown with hachures and shading and bodies of water colored blue). To the right, the map of the North-West Territory has counties (in red), cities, and geographic features marked and labeled. There are page numbers at the bottoms of the maps: 23 beneath the North-West Territory, 24 and 25 beneath the United States, and 26 beneath the map of the western U.S. Prime meridians: Greenwich and Washington.
