Description: A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from Robert G. Lee, President, The Southern Baptist Convention, Memphis, Tennessee, dated May 25, 1949. Lee expresses his appreciation for the letter from Carswell regarding the Buchanan report and explains the suggestion by Buchanan as being just something for us to "chew on" advising that the Convention was right in not doing any such thing.
